Christmas Dinner anyone?
We don’t want to spoil the party..
There’s nothing better than a delicious traditional Christmas dinner. Turkey, gravy, stuffing, roast potatoes, all followed by Christmas pudding, cream and custard. But a full Christmas dinner with all the trimmings, proceeded by breakfast, and followed by a few chocolates while watching the cricket and a cold supper can tip the scales at a massive 6,000 calories!
That’s enough food for 3 days for the average person.
Not only will overindulging during the festive season pile on the kilos, it can leave you feeling bloated, suffering from indigestion, and maybe having to deal with gastric problems.
There are healthier food choices to have over Christmas – the main thing to remember is to exercise some portion control. It’s ok to have a little bit of everything but try to cut down the actual amounts of food you consume.
Ready to Run??
